At UN session, China urged to allow Special Rapporteur to visit Tibet
GENEVA: UN Special Procedure Mandate holders, who play a significant role in the human rights mechanism, will present their reports during the Human Rights Council’s 22nd session. Their reports include specific country visits and communications of human rights violation concerns to respective governments.

Tibetan Youth Dies in Self-Immolation Protest at Sangchu
Tsebey, a 22-year-old Tibetan man set himself on fire around 1 pm local time today (12 January) in Sangchu region of Kanlho in eastern Tibet. He is the first Tibetan to set himself on fire protesting against the Chinese government in 2013. He died on the spot.

It is first time of its kind to commemorate the importance of "GadenNgachoe" among Tibetan members in Wädenswil. After the prayer lead by Rikon monk, he had explained very simply about the importance of "GadenNgachoe".

Tibetan community of section Luzern took part and represented Tibet in Venite, the yearly winter festival of Luzern. The festival , which runs a christmas market from 13th to 16th December is a space of inter cultural mélange that encourages exchange and promotes peaceful cohabitation in diversity.

Tibetans petition UN in Geneva on International Human Rights Day.
Coinciding with the International Human Rights Day, on the10th of december, the Tibetan Community of Switzerland and Leichtenstein, in a strong show of solidarity, unity and sympathy with the Tibetans inside Tibet and the 95 self immolators, led a peace march in Geneva, the seat of the UN offices in Europe
