DHARAMSHALA: Despite the Chinese government's massive economic investments in Tibet, “influx of Chinese population, growing income inequalities and restrictions on religious practices are fueling discontent and unhappiness among the Tibetans,” a US Senate delegation which visited Tibet in September last year said in its report issued yesterday. Dharamsala, March 29 – A five – member "Constitutional Amendment Drafting Committee" representing both Kashag (Cabinet) and the Parliament in exile was formed yesterday as per a resolution passed unanimously on the last day of the 14th Tibetan parliament's regular session (budget session) that concluded last week.

DHARAMSHALA: Lhaden, a Tibetan monk has launched a book on 2008 Tibetan people's peaceful protests against the misrule of the Chinese government this month in Tibet. The book was launched at the third anniversary of the protest, and on the occasion of the ongoing 16th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva, Switzerland.
