Organized by the Tibetan Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, on 25.08.2011 there was a commemoration to the 29 years old monk Tsewang Norbu, who burned himself as a sign of protest against the chinese politics and government.

Tibetan monk burns himself to death in eastern Tibet
DHARAMSHALA, August, 15: Tsewang Norbu, a 29-year old Tibetan monk from Nyitso monastery in Kham Kardze, eastern Tibet died today after setting himself on fire to protest Chinese rule in Tibet.

Dalai Lama in Estonia, scheduled to meet the president
DHARAMSHALA, August 17: His Holiness the Dalai Lama arrived in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia August 16 at the invitation of the Estonian Institute of Buddhism and the Riigikogu Tibet Support Group (Estonian Parliamentary group for Tibet).

Dharamsala Saddened by Fiery Death in Tibet: Urges China for Restraint
The Central Tibetan Administration is deeply saddened by the death of Tsewang Norbu who died because he had set himself on fire to draw the international community's attention to the worsening crisis in Tibet. This act of desperation is another indication of the deteriorating human rights situation in Tibet.
