tibetswiss.ch appears in a new look

In conjunction with the 100th publication of the printed newsletter of TCLS, the newsletter community of TCSL has marked yet another important milestone to the trilingual website of TCSL, tibetswiss.ch. The website is the platform to display communal activities of the Tibetan communities in Switzerland and Liechtenstein for many years and more importantly it serves as the medium of information relay. It is now relaunched it with a new look.

A prominent logo of the TCSL is present in the header section to make it unmistakable from any other websites. The design was kept very simple with few colors and yet with its clear navigation concept, one is expected to find information intuitively. The new website is also responsive to end devices, by which it adapts itself onto your display and makes it mobile-friendly.

The optimal font size has been chosen so that elderly reader can surf the website with ease. Also, the Tibetan fonts, which has a much different font glyph, line height, and flow, compared to Latin characters, is a challenge in itself to present it the way it does now on tibetswiss.ch. In term of clarity and readability, the new website stands at the top among many other Tibetan websites.

Along with a new look, the website also brings new functions, such as one can see all events at a glance in the calendar section, this feature might be a great help to the event planner different Tibetan organizations in Switzerland to avoid collision of events. Another added feature is a new comment function - now people can comment on the news entries to express their opinion. Sharing the news you like on social media is made a breeze.

The relaunch of the website was mainly supported by a generous donation from the Tibet office Geneva under the tenure of Mr. Ngodup, Dorjee la. The newsletter community is also indebted to the continuous support from the President of TCSL, Mr. Tsamda Norbu la, Vice-president and Thumi members of 17th legislative period.
