Zurich: Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration arrived in Zurich on 5 November for a two-day program. On the first day of the visit, he met dignitaries, spoke to the media and participated in a discussion on Tibet during the visit.

Geneva: The second and the final day of Geneva Forum 2021 concludes today with the participants and speakers jointly issuing a public statement to release the basic human rights of the Tibetans and those oppressed by the authoritarian Chinese government.

Geneva: 2nd November 2021:In a special session titled ‘If Tibet was Water Under the Bridge, Think Again’, Dr Micheal van Walt van Praag discussed his latest book ‘Tibet Brief: 20/20’ on the second day of the fourth Geneva Forum, on 2 November. The session was moderated by Kalden Tsomo, UN Advocacy Officer at the Tibet Bureau based in Geneva.

Geneva, 2nd November 2021: The ongoing fourth Geneva Forum held a special panel discussion on the Panchen Lama titled ‘Tibet’s Stolen Child – XIth Panchen Lama Gedhun Choekyi Nyima’ on the first day of the conference on 1 November.

Geneva; 1st November 2021: As China continues to flout the universally accepted principles of human rights and the human rights protection and assessment mechanism of the United Nations, the need to hold China accountable for worsening human rights records has become more crucial than ever.

Geneva: 31.10.2021: In the afternoon of 31st October, Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) arrived in Geneva, Switzerland, after successfully concluding official visits in Italy. Sikyong was accompanied by the Secretary of the Department of Information and International Relations, Karma Choeying and Representative Chhimey Rigzin of Tibet Bureau,Geneva.
