TAIPEI: Mr Dawa Tsering, Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Taiwan, was invited to give a talk on Tibetan democracy at National Chung Hsing University in Taichung on 26 May. During his two-hour talk Representative Dawa Tsering spoke about Tibet history, modern democracy and on the recent landmark election of 3rd Kalon Tripa.

DHARAMSHALA: The 14th Tibetan Parliament-Exile, after three days of intense deliberation during its additional session, gave its stamp of approval for the devolution of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s administrative and political powers to the democratically elected Tibetan leaders.
