Geneva: Tuesday, 10th December 2019: Marking the 71st International Human Rights Day, Tibetans in Switzerland and Liechtenstein gathered in front of the United Nations building in Geneva to highlight the dismal human rights situation in China occupied Tibet.

Zurich, 16th November 2019: On a chilly yet sunny and bright late Saturday morning in the small town of Rümlang in Zürich, a strong thousand Tibetans waited anxiously to hear and welcome Dr. Lobsang Sangay, the President of Central Tibetan Administration.

Geneva, 14th November 2019: The Two day Geneva Forum, discussion on Human rights situation in China was organized by Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) Dharamsala. The Event was attended by representatives from around 10 Countries with approximately 130 members.

Zürich, 5th October 2019: Local Parliament meeting of 17th Executive member of Tibetan Community in Switzerland & Liechtenstein was held today on 5^th October in Binz Office, Zürich for the year 2019.

Eschenbach (SG): On Saturday, 21st September 2019, Tibetan Association of Dhokham Chushi Gangdruk in Switzerland (Europe) organized 40th anniversary of Chushi Gangdruk in Europe at Eschenbach,Switzerland.

Rikon: On Saturday, 14th September 2019, Utsang Choelkha of Switzerland organized 32nd Annual Celebration at Rikon. Among the Chief guest of the Event, they were Chitue Dolma Tsering, Parliamentarian & Advisor of Central Utsang Province, Dharamsala, Mr. Jampa Choephel, the President of central Utsang Choelkha

Rikon: Saturday, 7th September 2019: The Tibetan Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein organized a commemoration ceremony on Saturday, 7th September 2019 at Rikon (Switzerland), on the occasion of 59^th anniversary of Tibetan Democracy day.

Winterthur: Saturday, 24th August, Swiss Tsechen Association and Dharma center Thupten Changchup Ling has organized Grand Teaching on Saturday, 24th August in Eulachhalle in Winterthur.

Aargau: On Saturday.27^th July 2019, Tibetan Community of Switzerland and Liechtenstein organized first ever Summer Camp for the Tibetan Student from all the section of Weekend Tibetan Language School in Switzerland at Aargau. The summer camp started on 27th July at about 2 pm and will last till 31st July 2019.

Basel: 29th June 2019. Tibetan School Committee of the Tibetan Community in Switzerland & Liechtenstein organized 6th Tibetan Language and Cultural competition at Pratteln, Basel.

The 61st Anniversary of Central Chushi Gangdurk in Exile and the 40th Anniversary of Europe Chushi Gangdruk Commemorated in Switzerland

Switzerland: Members of Swiss Parliamentary Group for Tibet held its summer session meeting at the parliament building office in Bern on 17 June, Monday afternoon. The members of the Swiss Parliamentary Group for Tibet meet bi-annually.

Rikon: On 8th June 2019, Saturday, Utsang Choelkha of Switzerland & Liechtenstein organized a prayer gathering for the long life and well being of His Holiness the Dalai Lama at Rikon Tibet institute.

The 6th Annual Mahaguru Bumtsok, the Prayer festival for the long life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and for the wellbeing of whole sentient beings started on 31st May 2019 at Aargau.

After the occupation of eastern Tibet`s provincial capital, Chamdo, the People`s Republic of China (PRC), on 23 May 1951, forced Tibet to sign the 17-point “Agreement on Measures for the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet.”The alternative, the occupying forces said, was an immediate military operation in the remaining parts of Tibet.

Zurich: On 25th April, Tibetans around the world celebrated and wished Panchen Lama on his 30th Birthday. Tibetan Women Association and the Tibetan Youth Congress in Switzerland jointly organized a Birthday celebration at Zürich.

In conjunction with the 100th publication of the printed newsletter of TCLS, the newsletter community of TCSL has marked yet another important milestone to the trilingual website of TCSL, tibetswiss.ch.

Initiated by the Tibetan Community in Switzerland and Liechtenstein, members of other organizations from Europe jointly paid a tribute to the outgoing representative of H.H. the Dalai Lama, Mr. Ngodup Dorjee la.
